Vehicle Description Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that...I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honeslty to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the nearly 80 photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2004 Subaru Legacy Outback 35th Anniversary Edition with the optional 3.0L H-6 engine. I would rate the exterior of this Outback to be in ABOVE AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, this is a good looking wagon. It is finished in Champagne Gold over Beige interior behind professionally tinted windows, which looks good. The finish shines nicely and looks smooth all around. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with age and mileage. However, you'd be hard pressed to find anything worth complaining about as you walk around the exterior of this Subaru. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and tail gate all open and close easily. All of the trim and cladding is present and shows well. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in nice rubber with average tread all around. Please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully to see how clean this Outback came in. I would rate the interior of this Outback to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. The door cards show well for their age and are tight. The dash and headliner are clean. The carpets show well for their age and are not excessively worn. Both front seats are heated. The cloth seats are clean, comfortable and show virtually no wear. The power windows, locks, and mirrors all work properly. The audio system sounds good through the factory speakers. The climate control system is fully automatic and also appears to be working properly. It is too cold outside to confirm that the air conditioner is cooling effectively but I can tell you that the heater works well. The cargo area is spacious and clean. Again, please take your time and check out each of the photos carefully. Mechanically, this Outback appears to be in good running and driving condition. The optional 3.0L flat six cylinder engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good for an older vehicle. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. The only thing I noticed is an audible exhaust leak coming from around the middle of the car. That will need attention. The engine makes good power and feels strong. She keeps perfect temperature at all times. The H-6 engine is a rather uncommon option, mainly because it was a $3,600 option when this car was new. However, it is a great engine and has none of the normal issues associated with the 2.5L four cylinder engines that pleague these cars. The automatic transission engages smoothly and shifts properly with zero issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with no complaints. The AWD sytem is tested and working properly. The Subaru Outback wagon is an absolute trooper of a car that can handle almost anything you can throw at it. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.
